The Grand dates from the Victorian age, when local hero IK Brunel reshaped Bristol - and the world - with engineering feats like the Clifton Suspension Bridge and SS Great Britain. In a city that’s no stranger to major feats of construction we’ve been engaged in extensive refurbishment works of our own. We’ve completed refurbishment of the majority of our bedrooms and have fully refurbished our spectacular Wessex Suite and Grand Ballroom resulting in a more modern and contemporary look and feel whilst retaining the hotel’s Victorian charm. We’re currently refurbishing our Restaurant and reception which completes at the beginning of July.
