The 29 beautifully styled bedrooms at the Castle have emerged after extensive renovation. Decorated in traditional style fabrics of soft fawn, patterned with blue or green fleur de lys. Period style furniture, rugs and carpets all blend to create a rich, warm and luxurious environment. Although brimming with antique style each of the 29 DISTINCTIVELY FURNISHED BEDROOMS feature elegant en-suite bathrooms, delightful views and every 20th century comfort.

The Dungeon Restaurant:
Dining at the Castle is a unique experience. The ancient barrel-vaulted dungeons provide an unusual setting to enjoy the fine, traditional Scottish and classical French castle cuisue, from fresh local produce. For example; Salmon, Venison and Grouse are complemented by an interesting selection of wines and an unrivalled quality of friendly and professional service.

The Orangery:
A more relaxed alternative to the unique barrel vaulted Dungeon Restaurant, the Orangery overlooks the meandering South Esk River and tranquil scenic parkland.
The eclectic style decor makes an enchanting dining experience, complemented by a contemporary Scottish and European menu, with healthy and light options available for Aqueous Spa guests.
The Orangery is the ideal place to rest, replenish and unwind.

HYDRO POOL:
Cleanse mind and body in the Hydro Pool, a beautiful feature of the spa area. A multi-massage jet pool incorporating an airbed, neck and specific muscular body massage jets. Designed to relieve aches and pains leaving one feeling energised and invigorated.

LACONIUM:
A Roman style sauna with underfloor and seat heating compared to the traditional sauna stove heating. The Laconium operates between 650C 800C, providing gentle heat allowing the body temperature to rise slowly, to purify and detoxify.

OTTOMAN:
A Turkish style steam bath with similar heating principal as the Laconium. No major fluctuations in heat and the volume of steam can be varied to achieve different comforting effects. Aroma essences can be introduced to soothe and relax the user.

Kneipp hoses are provide to cool down the body and stimulate circulation.

TROPICAL RAIN & COLD FOG SHOWER:
Activate you senses with the Topical Rain and Cold Fog snail shaped shower and its unique lighting effects. The Topical Rain incorporate scents of passion fruit and a lighting effect to induce a feeling of warmth and well being. Cold Fog replaces a traditional plunge pool, to cool down the body after heat exposure. A mint scent helps refresh the mind and body.

KNEIPP FOOT BATH:
Cools the body's circulation in a sociable setting.

TEPIDARIUM:
Enjoy a new feeling of well being in the Conservative Rotunda Tepidarium, ovevlooking the South Esk River. Relax at you leisure and enjoy the spectacular view.

SUN SHOWER:
An intense and vapid upright sun tanning facility to complete the feeling and looking good experience.

SPA TREATMENTS:
Specifically formulated therapeutic and beauty treatment designed by Elemis to purify, rejuvenate and nourish the body whilst aiding complete relaxation.

HAIRDRESSING SALON:
A small highly personalised Brian Henderson salon, blending into the castle's medieval structure. The final touch to feeling great!
