The Legends

Scotland is the spiritual home of golf and is the stuff legends are made of. You can't really call yourself a golfer until you have golfed in Scotland, the very heart of the game.

Need we say more about our tours of 'The Legends' - legendary courses and legendary hospitality.

  • Day 1: Arrive Scotland and be met by your Golf Scotland representative who will assist with your luggage and transfer to your motor transport. Transfer to the Lochgreen House Hotel at Troon that will be your base for the first two nights.

  • Day 2: Play Prestwick Old, venue for the first British Open in 1860 and this majestic old links is a classic example of a true Scottish course.
  • Day 3: Transfer to the Marriott Inverness, for two nights. In the afternoon play Nairn, another championship links used for the 1999 Walker Cup match.
  • Day 4: Play Royal Dornoch, unquestionably one of the finest Non-Open Championship courses in Scotland and the favourite of many of the world's top players with undulating fairways and green tucked away in natural hollows.

  • Day 5: Transfer to one of our excellent St Andrews Hotels for the final 3 nights. In the afternoon play the world famous Carnoustie Championship - host to the British Open in 1999.

  • Day 6: Play St. Andrews New or Jubilee which lie in the shadow of their famous elder sister course but are both top quality links courses.

  • Day 7: The dream of any golfers life is to play the St. Andrews Old Course and today you are scheduled to make the dream come true. This will be a truely memorable experience and no words can possibly describe the emotions you will experience standing on the first tee.

  • Day 8: Transfer to the airport for return home or extend your visit with Golf Scotland.
